Steamboat Legends is an independent creative studio and publisher dedicated to storytelling, illustration, and tabletop experiences. Our work explores the worlds of classic animation, folklore, and public-domain characters, bringing them to life through beautifully crafted tarot decks, tabletop games, books, puzzles, and collectibles.

We create projects that blend traditional inspiration with distinctive artistic interpretation. Our tarot decks reimagine the structure of classic tarot through themes drawn from early animation, adventure stories, and beloved characters from the public domain. At the same time, our tabletop role-playing games and other projects invite players and readers to explore imaginative worlds through storytelling and play.

Steamboat Legends collaborates with talented illustrators, whose artwork brings personality, warmth, and visual storytelling to each project. Every product is produced with careful attention to design and quality, from durable card stock and linen finishes to beautifully printed books and accessories.

Several of our projects have also received recognition for their design. The Hundred-Acre Arcana and The Mystic Honeypot Arcana were both honored with the American Graphic Design Award from Graphic Design USA (GDUSA).

Today, Steamboat Legends continues to expand into tarot decks, tabletop role-playing games, puzzles, illustrated books, and other creative projects that celebrate imagination, storytelling, and the enduring power of art.
